I’ve been making the "Santa in Pirogue" design for several years now and it’s been very popular. In 2022, I was asked to create something new and even more “Cajun” that would be faithful to the illustrations in the book "CAJUN NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS", where Santa was “dress in musk-rat from his head to his foot”. The first illustration below was captured from the book. The photos below that are the results of my efforts to create a holiday display for Cajuns that would recognize and honor the true spirit of our shared heritage and culture.

The large sized work below was cut in (3) separate panels that when joined as shown measures approximately 18 feet wide. I have also drawn out plans for a small size option that would measure 8 Feet wide.
